That was my point...there is so much growth on the bottom that
it might come up short on the top. Still like the unusual look.
Keep us posted!

It is hard to imagine the main beams putting on another 15+ inches when the points at the base seem to be close to maxed out. Still a very cool, unique buck.

You could be right. He might use up all his juice at the bottom.

I am not so sure he will make 30" either but that's what I am hoping for. How big do you think the bases are?

Wonder what happened to him. Some kind of injury. I found one of ours that had bases like that dead in a pond. It got snake bit right when he started growing out

Get you a better zoom lense for a camera or get good at usuing binos and a phone, the pics are too blury for me to give you a good est. on bases but he will be heavy for sure just not tall. Still cool but if hes short on overal lenght he isnt worth alot IMO but one mans trash is anothers treasure. Keep us posted

I am starting to wonder if it may be genetic as one of our other axis bucks from that ranch put on a solid 7th point at the base

Not trying to be "nit picky"....but it sure would look a lot better if you posted the photos directly from your computer, instead of taking a picture of your computer screen with your cell phone.

I am starting to wonder if maybe he got his nuts hung on a fence. His antlers sorta got that look about them. Guess we will find out in another couple of months.
