I have this squirrel that keeps running along the top of my RV. Now, sadly, I am parked in an urban environment. I have a one shot pellet/bb gun, and a slingshot. What should I use on my urban hunt?

Use the pellet gun. No need to give it a chance with the slingshot.

Be advised, squirrels are considered game animals. If you shoot him with a slingshot or air rifle, don't go around bragging about it.

sounds like you need to spend some time on the roof soon. you know... to clear the gutters.

Not that I know from experience.. but a .177 caliber pellet through is a sure fix. In fact a regular bb though the neck has proven to be suffcient, and won't puncture the RV siding.

pellet gun. I shoot black birds all the time with mine. we have a few neighbors that stand outside and do it lol

Be advised, squirrels are considered game animals. If you shoot him with a slingshot or air rifle, don't go around bragging about it. Luckily I'm in an open county. There is no closed season in my county.  Edit, in fact, i have no closed season and no bag limits!

Page 59 in the annual: • Game animals and game birds may be hunted with any legal firearm, except: - white-tailed deer, mule deer, desert bighorn sheep, and pronghorn antelope may not be hunted with rimfire ammunition of any caliber. - shotguns are the only legal firearm that may be used to hunt eastern turkey during the spring Eastern turkey season (see County Listings). Rifles and handguns may not be used to hunt eastern turkey. - pellet guns and other air guns are not legal. - fully automatic firearms are not legal. - a shotgun is the only legal firearm for hunting migratory game birds (see definitions - Legal Page 68 of the Annual Game Animals White-tailed deer Desert bighorn sheep Gray or cat squirrel Collared peccary Mule deer Pronghorn antelope Red or fox squirrel or javelina It's no skin off my nose if someone wants to shoot a squirrel with a pellet gun or anything else. Personally, I think it's a silly law. I just would hate to hear that some squirrel hugger got mad and turned you in to the game warden. Folks have gotten fines for a lot less. I have some good recipes though!

Dang squirrels are eating my trim board against the edge of the wall, eating the corners of my cedar fence and the little Rat Bast_ _ ds ate the top of my flag hanging on the tree out front.
Any legal way to remove them from the city?

They have thinned them out pretty good but when the occasional stray goes across the powerline its an instant barrage of pellets. people cocking and reloading asap.

I sat outside at my mother's house today, waiting on contractors, smoking my stogie and realized we have a major squirrel infestation, including one dreaded black (rock) squirrel. High traffic area with lots of nosy neighbors, so it will have to strictly be a trap, haul, and dispatch scenario. Prestone...hmmmm.
