Lubbock, TX and hunt Hale for pheasant and geese, and Dickens for quail. Don't have dogs, we drive around until we spot a covey and then hop out and chase.

Born in SE Kansas, raised north of Tulsa, been in DFW area for 16 yrs. Hunted quail and rabbit growing up. Fell in love with pheasant hunting in High School. Hunt mostly quail and pheasant when I can make it back to KS. My GSP died in '06. Have not replaced him yet but would like to sometime.
I would agree with you, but then I would be wrong too.

born and raised texan, split for 12 years to live in colorado, I like hunting our uplands, what's left of it, but do annual trips to n. michigan for grouse, sd for phez and back to CO for ptarmagin and blue grouse.

I live in Lewisville TX. I hunt Bob white in Slap Out OK. and Guide up there as well. I hunt GSH.

Flower Mound. Own some property near Graham. Leases in Archer, Baylor and Throckmorton county but hunt a lot in Borden and Dickens county as well.
