You asked for our recommendations... mine is if you don't want to look like a DB then don't get one So you're saying I look like a DB ? I think you're just jealous that your wife won't give you enough money to have your Hyundai wrapped In answer to some of your questions; they hold up very well against scratches I drive mine through the mesquite trees all the time and it holds up well. It will fade over time but if they use a good UV laminate on the top it should easily last 5-7 years. When it does start to fade you can peal it off and the factory paint underneath will be in good shape. The problem with going to a spray on liner is 3 fold. Fist they are not smooth and although you wouldn't think it that adds a ton of drag to your vehicle which decreases your fuel mileage. Second they add a bunch of weight to the vehicle which also effects fuel mileage and stability in turns. Third once it is sprayed it is sprayed if you decided to sell the vehicle you can't peel it off and have the factory paint. Impressions are what they are but yes. And the blacked out rims and tires just add to it as do leveling kits etc.

You guys are getting fired up. Sorry...was just giving an honest opinion. To me it's like I said above...it screams you need attention...."hey everyone I'm a hunter...I'm such a hardcore hunter, by god, my truck is camoed!!!". On top of that it serves no use for for actual hunting and to me it's a giant waste of money. Then again maybe no matter what you've got to strut.
If you are an outfitter...then there it does serve to help advertise and it makes sense that you would want to draw attention in order to get business...at least with the expense there you can write it off against income...but if you are just some dude then yeah I stand by my statements. I'm just trying to help you out skinner...it seems you have learned something even though it kind of hurt your feelings in the process. So I guess you don't use camo on your deer blinds, rifle/bow, binos, or wear camo clothing either since they all scream for attention? Many folks do hunt from their vehicles in many areas of the state. Your post makes no sense. Talking about a vehicle vs actual hunting?? Of course I wear camo or brush blinds when hunting. I don't hunt out of a truck and I don't see how it would actually matter if the truck is camo or not...if you are driving whatever game you are hunting will hear you before they see you anyway and if its camo or neon yellow I don't see much of a difference.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

...if you are driving whatever game you are hunting will hear you before they see you anyway and if its camo or neon yellow I don't see much of a difference. Every time I see a camo vehicle I think of what Marcstar said... oh kuhlz it's camo, so now there is just floating windows, grill, headlights, taillights, bumpers, wheels and tires, whatever and an out-of-place noise (the motor and noise from driving over plants, sticks, etc)... nullifying the camo. <sarcasm>Camo the *entire* vehicle, make it electric and you're much better off.</sarcasm> Otherwise, you're wasting your time and money. My two cents - Mickey PS Don't forget to use scent killer on the entire vehicle including that electric motor!
My botnet is bigger than yours.

" Looking at camo wrapping my entire truck. Wondering if anyone here has done it and your recommendations." I'm glad yalls opinions matter, even though I didn't ask for them.

I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

This thread reminds me a lot of this video... http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4212069/1Keep in mind he is asking for advice about HOW to get it camo wrapped, not IF to get it camo wrapped. Skinnerback, there are several companies that make car-wrap that are easy enough to apply yourself for around $400-$500. With patience and a good squeegy, you actually achieve really good results. I'll ask my uncle where he gets his wrap from.

My dad did his hunting rig, a Toyota truck. The trucks paint had faded bad, and we wanted to make it a mobile stand. It has held up well for five years. Thats a sweet rig

Camo?
Paint it to look like a game warden truck, then you can hunt from the comfort of the drivers seat.
