My wife and I finally got around to trying Maple and Motor today. I thought it was pretty good. We got there around 1 pm and it was packed. There was a line at the counter, but we found a seat a little while after we ordered. Bacon cheeseburger was quite tasty. So were the fries and onion rings. We both thought it was great and will be going back.

Went to my favorite spot, The Angry Dog and was Disappointed. Why can't servers understand how you want your food cooked. Not trying to be funny but; I said I wanted my burger hot, pink & juicy on the inside. He said did I mean medium rare or medium. I told him to call it what he wants, but my description is how I wanted it cooked. Dang it they over cooked it & the fries were under cooked

Be nice to have melted cheese too. That sucks. Used to be one of the best.
No thanks.

I cant't believe nobody has mentioned Burger Island. Found the one on lemmon Ave. and go once a week ..They have one in Richardson and the one I eat at in Carrolllton..Beltline just east of 35 half a mile...Huge burgers and damn good....Cooked and seasoned on griddletop so it stays nice and juicy...

Had a smash burger 2 times in the last week. They are really good, fresh, the workers are nice, and the fries are awesome. Very good but not near as good as off Site Kitchen. If you have not been there you need to try it......... Based on your recommendation, I ate at Off-Site Kitchen yesterday. Outstanding burger. The garlic fries were fantastic as well. I liked this place every bit as much, if not more than Maple and Motor!

Freds in Fort Worth, Maple & Motor in Dallas.
Best designer burger would be Liberty or Hop Doddy.

Yeah Angry Dog has lost it's edge. Offsite Kitchen is where it's at now.

Newcastle diner in Newcastle tx has a wicked big burger that is great for a whole in the wall place. Don't get a double FYI. It's too thick to eat right. You shoot an 8 point and they'll put your pic on the wall. The only downside is they'll set in there smoking cigarettes. Get it to go!
