My guess would be constant power for memory and ground of some sort.

Screw it, strip all of them, and start trying them in different combinations (no pun intended). You can always splice them back together later.

After watching the video, I don't think any of your wires will work. The wires in your picture most likely go to a circuit board inside the door. Then the solenoid wires come off the circuit board. You need to try and fish those solenoid wires out.

Might try this? I know yours isn't a Sentry but it's probably similar.

From LaGard's website:

The lock will not retract after a correct code has been entered.
There is mostly likely pressure on the lock bolt, which is not allowing the solenoid pin to retract. Check the handle position to relieve pressure on the lock bolt and retry opening procedure. Vibrate the door if possible.

I'll have to look this evening I'm not sure. When your batteries where dying did your keypad indicate it?

It beeped 2 times after I opened it every time I put a new battery and it burned a new battery in 2 openings of the safe then it just would not open one time. You might wanna ask winchester if you can buy a new key pad & lock direct from them , you can install it your self and it will open with the same password as before, instead of having a lock smith drill.

Are you doing the "hold down 0 for 10 seconds before inserting the battery"? Have you tried 123456?

Hey I just seen the pics you have a LG keypad that was the same model as mine that went bad . What they had me do was take apart the keypad by unscrewing the 2 screws and pull the wire out of the motherboard thats in the keypad and plug the same wire that runs from inside the safe to a new keypad and it opened right away and then they sent a new internal lock that stores the actual pass code it's behind the firewall you have to take it down to a change it.

Hopefully your still under warranty and can get a new keypad and lock for free.

I just got off the phone with them again, they once again told me that it wouldn't work if I got a new key pad for $57.95 that my problem was the locking mech inside. The gave me a website to look for a locksmith on. I think my only routes are a locksmith or just keep trying the keypad like mentioned earlier.

I haven't tried holding 0 down for 10 seconds, I didn't see that. If I enter any set of numbers other than my combo it will beep 3 times and after so many times it shuts off for a few minutes.

I just talked to a locksmith that is a member of the Safe and Vault Tech. Assoc. he said that the last one he drilled into took a $100 worth of bits and was no easy task. He said it aint going to be cheap. I told him what my keypad is doing and he said the same thing Winchester said. He said to pry the door open as far as I can ( which is very little) and bang on it, sometimes the vibration will do the trick.

You're not raising enough stink. This is winchester, and a safe, with valuables inside. You need to go as high as you can go, then go higher in their chain of command. I say once you get it open, sell it, buy a Liberty, and never look back.
