That photo has been around the internet for awhile. If I remember correctly, it was killed somewhere in the southeast. Camera postioning helped too.

He may be 6-2 but that stick or what ever he's using is about 6 to 8 ft.

Regardless of photography tricks, that's a huge rattler. I'd say around 6 feet and FAT!!

I'd rather a snake be big and easy to see than tiny and hiding in my boots or something.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

Uh, shoot it or scare it away easily with a small stick? What did you have in mind, calling the Navy Seals?

Something like that or the ranger's. I know all about camera trick's and that may or may not be the case here. The only thing wrong with it being a camera trick is the size of the snakes head and I believe it is well over 7' atleast.

I have caught a lot of snakes and there is no way you could convince me that snake is over 7' and no way I would believ that pic was taken in Coleman County. loser8

I'd kill it, then hold it waaaaay out in front of me on a stick while posing for a picture. Then I would post the picture on the internet and greatly exaturate the size. Maybe even lie about where the picture was taken to sensationalize it a bit.
