it doesn't even look like he has holes for ears... should be easier to sneak up on, but where would you aim?????

We shot one in limestone county in january with no ears and no nuts. Looked like someone had cut em both when he was little

looks like he's been in a scrape or two. He could have tried to mate with the wrong sow, or a dog might have had something to do with it.
Animals adapt and overcome or they perish. I think that's a good lesson that a lot of people need to be reminded of from time to time..

I have a friend who hunts hogs a lot. He said that sometimes people will cut the ears off and the nuts as well so they will get bigger and the dogs cannot hold them . They will do this in an area they do not hunt normally. The main intent is to do it to someone they don`t like and their dogs will get cut up because the dogs can`t get ahold of their ears. He has had this happen to him before and he had a good idea who had done it.

people who trap cut their ears off. when the catch dogs goes to catch a ear he will get slung and/or cut, ours usuallys then goes for the nose if they cant get a ear.
