Michelin actually designed the tire. Polaris is running them on the government UTV's.

Has anyone ever had their atv tires professionally foam filled? We do it on skid loaders all the time to prevent tire failures in rough conditions, but I do not know how the extra weight would affect an atv?

Saw a test run on tires like these being developed by Michelin and they DO clean out really good from the gumbo mud. These may be the new direction for tires on automobiles, also. They dig the mud and clean-out just like a normal tire. The "treads" are what needs to clean-out, not the honeycomb; although it does clean out, too.

I have foam filled tires on some heavy equipment and I'm thinking they would beat your guts out when driven at any speed at all and especially on an ATV/RTV type vehicle. The foam is very heavy and non-forgiving in the bumps.
