I like #1 and #3 I think the carving is a heavy and delightful look on the end and think the blade ought to add some weight to the look. But I stand in awe on all of it! My hat is definitely off to you Sir!

The last piece is not native to North or South America. The rock is; but not the form.

Yeah, #3 doesn't fit the style of the handle. I'm trying out colors. I have some Fort Hood flint that will make a nice cream colored blade.

Norway? lol looks to be about, I don't know, 5 inches long? I'm still thinking fish-sticker though!

Egypt. Few people know that they knapped tools too. But this is a macabre tool.

I probably don't want to know the details then. Anything like the end of "Braveheart?" eek2

At one point, they believed that after death the spirit left the body through the mouth. They held the piece flat by the "wings", inserted the piece almost all the way into the dead persons mouth, and rotated it 90 degrees. The sharp edges of the wide base were wedged between teeth or into the gums. It held the mouth open in an eternal cadavers scream.

They all look cool! I like the color of #3 matched with the shape of the first blade in the second set of pics. But I'm sure that whichever you choose, it will look great!

Mmmm Hmmm
