I'm only signed up for Rifles Only Bushnell Brawl. I doubt I'll be able to shoot any other matches this year.

I bet you're swamped! Have fun at the brawl! I'm not signed up for it this year, but I'm shooting Vortex, and any club matches I can make.

And $5+ a round to feed. Pretty much, but I feel even worse for the guys with transferable M2HBs.

I know a guy who has had one since about '82 when they were "cheap" before the ban and he just doesn't shoot the damn thing anymore because it just turns money into noise.

I would imagine that's not the norm.

Currently shooting a Factory 700 SPS Tactical with handloads. Cosistantly shooting under 1/2 MOA at 2700FPS muzzle velocity. I have only shot this rifle out to 300 so far, but will be shooting 1,000 with it soon. At 1/2 MOA with 178 grann bullets it should be GTG at 1,000.

Savage 110 BA. I think that'll do it. X2 Worked for me.... With a good optic, good handloads and someone to teach you how to scope out that far it will. Probably the most cost effective too. Still $$ to shoot it.

Are the 178s HPBT or AMAX? Is the 1/2 MOA at 100 or 300? I'm at 2668 FPS out of a 20 inch barrel w/ 44.2g of Varget in Lapua brass. That's out of a Brux 1:11.25 twist. I get around .25-.50 MOA 5 shot groups out to 500 yards. Around 500 it's closer to .5 MOA

theres lots of rifles that will hit at 1000, "J" at NTRP and i have spoken about this in person substantially, the caliber choice and good glass with accurate consistent internals seems to be the determining factor on how much work it takes to get it there
