Mary's Cafe in Strawn is at the bottom of my list. Pass there going to and from my lease. The optimum word here is PASS.

I ate at Mary's Friday night. The crowd was huge.

Just about any resteraunt in Corsicana. I broke my rule of never eatting there passing through last Friday on the way to Mills County. Not one person in my family of 4 enjoyed the meal.

Only been to Mary's once but I loved it.

K&N in Graham is a definite pass for me.

Also, the Burger King in Mineral Wells.

Then you missed El Mexicano, one block off of 7th/Hwy 31. Authentic Mexican food, service is sometimes sketchy, but the lengua is topnotch.

There's a lot of people who absolutely swear by Mary's in Strawn... funny that it made this list.... I like it alright but never really impressed me like it has so many of my friends. It is the only place Ive ever seen someone get a to go cup for Shiner Bock though.

Panchos in the Houston area, seems like when i was younger it was good but i went there recently and it was awful

The only place that I can think of that makes the honor roll for truly bad food was Stephen's Restaurant in Groesbeck, TX. The absolute worst hamburger and fries I have EVER eaten (yes, I ate it, cause I was really hungry). I'd still avoid the place if it was still in business. The burger was cold and tasted like cardboard and the fries were cold, greasy, and had the consistency of wood. The food was worse than I can put in words.

And there is a Mexican food joint in Centerville on Hwy 7 on the west side of I-45. The name starts with an R, but I can't remember the name. DO NOT eat there. I don't care how hungry you are. Listen to me. I have your best interests in mind.

I see a lot of motorcycles at Mary's, maybe after a couple of hours on a motorcycle anything tastes better than the bugs on your teeth.

As far as the earlier mention of the Smokestack, I have been eating there for years and think it is pretty good. Not exceptional, but good. It is always full when I stop in, especially during deer season.

Nancy's in Bastrop - worst service, can't get a order correct (bring the wrong drinks, food, etc.) bring out main course before appetisers and salad.

Nowhere close to the one in Columbus - Bastrop one should take a trip and see how a real restaurant is handled.
