On mulies with very little wind (hardly ever very little wind when hunting mulies) I might go out to 500 with the 7mm STW if I couldn't get any closer.

i dont like takin shots over 250 with a rifle and in the places i hunt its a rare occurence.

i can shoot my bow out to 50 yds well enough to be confident in a shot. But, unfortunately i dont agree with the flight of many broadheads at that distance. I have taken most of my deer at 20-35 yds. I would comfortably take a 40yd shot in the right situation

Bow around 25-30 yards I rarely use a rifle more than 150 yds.

Still getting used to my bow so 35 yrds. And with a gun farthest I have shot is 175. But I might try 200 if I thought it was doable.

300 with 270 wsm on deer. Corsicans out as far as I can see. Coons same thing, if I can see it I'm slinging lead.

Don't hunt with a stick and a string.

bow - 30
rifle - 500 depending on which rifle I have with me. With the .243 100-150 max, the 30-06 250 unless it's a hog, the 300 RUM 350-400 all day long, the 270 WSM with 25X scope and 56mm objective 500-600 is not out of the question, add a minimum of 100 yards to all figures for shots on hogs
