Yep. They're the same. Both great, easy to take apart and put back together. They say the vinci cycles faster, but I can only pull the trigger so fast. I've never had an issue with my SBEII

Both are equally amazing. I personally like the feel of the SBE2 so that's what I would get...which every one feel best out of the two.

Super Vinci

SBEII has been around for a while. I have one and it's very solid...been though the ringer many times. I think I've had mine for 7 years now. They are tried and true.

The SBEII is extremely easy to break down but the Super Vinci is said to be even easier. It also does not have the recoil spring or whatever it's called that goes into the stock like the SBEII. This could be an improvement.

Never listen to shotgun companies that talk about how fast a gun can cycle. For any modern semi it does not matter because you can't pull the trigger and then reaim and pull it again fast enough. Or just pull the trigger as fast as you can...it won't matter they all cycle more than fast enough.

If my SBEII got lost at the bottom of lake X....I honestly don't know what I'd go with for a replacement. Buddy of mine had his stolen and was going to get a Super Vinci but he said it did not feel right so he bought another SBEII. TO each his own...go by what feels better as the difference between the two are slight.

If anyone has owned both it would be interesting to see what they say.

Vinci, looks weird, cool action, literally can hold the whole thing in your hand.

I own a SBE II, Browning Maxus (fav gun) and I shoot my buddies Vinci on occasion. No difference between the Vinci/SBE II in my book except fit and feel.

My next gun is the A400.

Go with the gas guns (Maxus, A5, A400)

or, buy one of each...

Sorry, A5 (real one, and new fake one) has never been gas. The new one is a SBE II in different clothes.

Not saying its a bad gun, just ain't gas operated.

Random side note...I wish beretta would get back to giving guns names like pintail, and silver mallard. It's tough to keep up with 390, 3901, A400, etc.

If not my mistake, I've shot one but it's been about 15 years.

I thought the new A5 was just a different spin on the maxus/silver/winchester SX III build. (All basically the same)

Yeah, the old one is long recoil action. Springs, barrel moves, etc. No gas.

The new one literally would infringe on the benelli patent, but it has been 25 years since their inertia action patent, and the patent expired.

I prefer the SBE, hold or shoot one, they feel different.

Beretta all day long. I've had lots of them and they have all been flawless. I'm still kicking myself for selling my old A390 Silver Mallard though. Thinking about trying out the A400 Xtreme, although I really liked my Xtrema 2.
