What is up with the spine on that buck? He's prolly 12 yrs old and in an AR county
What kind of lights does it shoot out? Like are we talkin the mini bulb Christmas lights or a 500 watt flood light?

What is up with the spine on that buck? Just wore out from rut....eat and drink as little as possible while they are chasing....he is old but not all that old...prolly 5.5....this is the time of year you loose most of your older bucks from stress and not being able to bounce back to health....winter hasnt been that bad at all though will be more that make it this year

I love all the critics out there who like to argue about size of animals posted on here. Does anyone have any faith in someone's ability to use a tape measure any more?
I believe you on the snake. That is awesome.
I think the G2 is 18 inches also.

If you use the same measuring tape that you used on the snake, that G2 will be 46 inches long. LOL He might have one of those Stanley tape measures that the factory screwed up. They made a batch that were a foot short.

Pretty tough to judge the snakes length given the complete lack of perspective in the photo. Not sure why anyone would lie then post a pic exposing himself as a liar... Give the OP some credit!

"The largest reported measurement for a western diamondback rattlesnake is 92.5 inches (Jones, 1997). Interestingly the second largest specimen to be measured was found in Cedar Hill, Texas and measured 92 inches. (Curtis, 1949). The average size for adult specimens is between three to four feet.
92.5 inches is 7'8.5". So at 7'9", what you are seeing in that picture is the undisputed world record rattler of all time!

I've seen a huge one (fresh killed) in Rock Springs that had to be over 8' and a pic of one in Comstock (I think) streched out on a 8 ft hitching post with his tail wrapped around it at least once. Stop at the snake farm on I20 and look at the hide they have hanging from the ceiling and yes I know a hide can be streched a long way. By the way I believe the pic... the man has no reason to lie.

The mount at the snake farm on I20 is close to 10ft but it is a fake and the owner will tell you so. If he even opens anymore.

I saw this woman ordering chicken in a Popeye's down around Beaumont one time and she had on a rattlesnake skirt... that snake had to have been 34 feet long to go all the way around that.

Saw a picture of a monster in the hye post office. It was obviosly an Eastern. Easterns are much bigger. My BIL lives in Jacksonvillle. He sent me a story about some big rattlers from around St. Augustine. Not sure if it was true or not but they raomed the neighborhoods eating pets.
