Have you ever thought about TALKING TO THEM?? You might be surprised what you find. There is no law prohibiting you from meeting your neighbors for a friendly chat.. I am surprised that you find it necessary to ask HERE. Unless their place is loaded with "No Trespassing " signs or they have a Rottweiler patrolling the yard, I would suggest a face to face. What can it hurt? It will surely answer your question that cannot be answered on a forum.. D.H. 1

I recon word is getting out about what we are doing because in the last two years I have seen a forrest of blinds go up on my north fence line. This is just a thing we deal with.
Most of our neighbors are family who lease their land out. They don't put any restrictions on them and don't care about any of our concerns. These are our worst neighbors. I have had to deal with their hunters road hunting, leaving messes blowing electrical circuts and dumping their camper toilets in my pens. Last year they put their blind right on one of my best feeders. We have tried talking but...
The good news is that the sister sold her pasture and the new owner is another neighbor who is awesome.
We do the best we can with what we have. He who has the most corn wins.

Talking to or suggesting how a person should run his place is like telling your neighbor how he or she should raise their kids. All it does is pi** them off.

Exactly I don't even try anymore. Me nether. They do what they want and I do what I want.Everyone stays happy or at least acts like it. When you get tired of it you HF. On 18 acres I could care less. I just wanted to see what some others think they could do. I shoot an Axis spike or 2 year old and that is all I need. It don't get much better than that.

Don I've got 2.5 acres on the Medina and can see Rio Ranchero Rd out my back window where it dead ends..Most of the neighbors in the sub division hunt/some have feeders, ect..I have always fed and now have a feeder up..sometimes I have 38 to 40 deer while I out on my mower and even a few Axis..but my neighbors kill all of the bucks w/any kind of fork horn and leave the spikes and sgl sided spikes and almost all of the doe. I found 9 deer carcasses deboned and less their heads across the road from me last season. All were the better hard horned bucks I'd fed for yrs..I feel your pain..Don Dial Pipe Creek

Folks moving into the area got to be a little too much to put up with, and it wasn't much fun hunting there anymore, wife didn't want to move there, and taxes were always coming due so I sold it. No regrets, and now I lease with no strings attached.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
