Nope .300 shoots under 1/2" at 100, he is great guy and does great work, you should think about getting it cerakoted while it is there.

Thought you would like that since it was 300 ultra barrel, 300 to 350 for barrel 195 for chambering threading, and crowning, plus prolly between 150 and 200 for the fluting.

Is that a factory barrel, or fluting your barrel, I was talking about ordering a new custom barrel blank. Yes it is two toned.

I guess I better wear out the barrel I have right now first! 
You could have your barrel taken off and send it to him have it fluted like that unless it is already fulted and save yourself alot of chips.

You will love it, is he going to cerakote it in two colors or just flute it, I was guessing on the fluting straight,spiral straight, never asked him the cost on that, but if you talked with him, you know my secret place now!

going straight Spiral, and Matte Black on top and stainless in the flute, that way it will match my reciever thats stainless w/o having to much stainless look to it.

Heres my Ruger .270. I put the 50mm reticle scope on it which raised the eye of the scope so high i didnt like the cheeck weld, or lack of. I went to Cabellas and bought the comb riser, and it puts my eye right where it needs to be. Fair warning if you install one of these, this one screws to the stock and is permanent, so when you mark your holes on top of the stock, open the bolt and pull as far back as you need to to remove it from the rifle, and make your marks there. Dont ask. Nothing fancy, nothing camo or fluted, basically factory. Drives tacks, and drops em where they stand. Skinner

 To late on the before... Plus she's getting new optics and maybe new stock. Haven't found one yet that just tickles my fancy though. Now I just have the find a tube or box.
