Hey BMD that is a sweet rig. It looks like a Steyr action with spiral cut bolt and a #5 contour fluted barrel topped with a 4X12 Swaro. Nice.

All it takes is a fine rifle and they kiss and make up Before to long they will both be wearing tight shorts trekking across africa. Sorry BDM and Sabrina couldn't resist

Love BDM scope, Just wish they would come out with the same modle with the parrellex on the side.

Actually I got pretty close with a single picture and no view of the muzzle. Of course I appreciate all those fine points of BMD's rifle.

Just my good old cheap Walmart Savage 270. It's done me right for over 10 years now. No point in changing.

forgot mine, first one is a weatherby vanguard sub moa in 22-250, my "doe" gun although I've had great success w/it on hogs and 2 large bucks I've shot with it. it has a nikon monarch 5.5x16x44, usually shoot either 53 gr barnes tsx or 60 gr nosler partitions. my daughter shot a huge boar last year w/the partitions about 80 yards right in the shoulder and it dropped like a rock, surprised me because it was atleast a 250-300#'er. the middle gun is my fav, it's a mark v in 257 mag w/swaro 2.5x10x56 w/30mm tube, very good early morning and late evening, the back gun is my daughters for this year, mark v 243 w/bushnell elite 4200 2.5x10x50 w/illuminated reticle (not firefly) w/30 mm tube, i've been impressed w/it, it's close to the swaro and I feel as good as several zeiss conquest's I have. my snake gun is a judge

What kind of fluting are you getting on the barrels?

You could always have one built for it or buy a factory and have the flutes cut after market.

I had a 257 wby made that had straight flutes and I sold it to a friend two days after I got it, He wanted one and didn't want to wait three months for it so he gave me a premy for it. After seeing the sprial in the middle of yours I want one, just need to find someone who can make it.
