Are there different record books for a fish caught in a HF pasture than one caught in a LF pasture. This may have been asked but I didn't want to wade through all the dribble in this thresd to see.

Is sitting in a box blind in a HF pasture the same as sitting in one in a LF pasture?

Should they have different record books for shooting a deer out of a box blind as opposed to stalking it?

Is using "Indian Corn" in a LF pasture give you an unfair advantage?

If you marry a woman that grew up on a HF place and you have children will they naturally want to hunt HF? Will it mess them up mentally if one day they have to hunt LF?

I hunt LF all my life my dad and I bought a managed hunt in a HF I sat in stand 2 straight days (packed a lunch) and didnt see anything had to go two different weekends until I got a buck. my dad has yet to get his so we will make it 3 times and this is only on 550 acres. I thought the same thing and called it a (canned) hunt and after hunting this place It is just as hard to get them as on a low fence only the deer are bigger. The deer dont want to die any more on a HF then they do on a LF. When I shot it it didnt have bells around its neck and wasent let loos from a tree. I would recomend anyone to go on a HF hunt at least once in there life. And again I am a LF hunter Welcome to the dark side. however,
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.

It is obvious you have never once hunted on a hf ranch!
Bad day of hutning is still better than a good day of work

That's crap and you know it. I hunt LF and a 170 inch buck is a great trophy. But if I or anyone for that matter had the opportunity to shoot a 250" buck, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I will say it takes more to kill a big buck on low fence, but let's not sound ridiculous. That sounds like those people who say they wouldn't quit their job if they won the lotto.

If someone was to pay for a HF hunt for you.. would you take it? If so... then you have no problem with HF hunting.
What would you rather do... pay for a LF hunt yourself or have someone pay for a HF hunt for you?

Two WHOLE weekends to kill your buck, wow that's a lot of stand time. Lol just messing with you. I have said it before and I say it again you can't lump all Hfs together. It's just assanine to do so. Lets all just hunt and be happy that we still have the right to. Lets quit all of this my way or the hiway nonsense.

I have not read the 20 pages so maybe those that have can help me.
If you shoot a mountain lion in a HF is it fair chase?
How about a Hog.... how high does the fence have to be, 4 foot, hog wire, sheep wire before it's hunting within an enclosure?
If you enter a varmint hunting contest can you enter varmints taken within a HF?
If you shot a Blackbuck in a LF is it really a LFHF because you can raise them in a 4 foot LF?
If you shoot a LF Axis is it really a fair chase hunt because it escaped from a HF. Or is that like shooting an escaped zoo animal?
If you shot a B&C whitetail on your LF ranch but unbeknown to anyone it escaped from a HF ranch is it still a B&C?
