Like I said earlier. People that leave there trash in the outdoors and support hunting with alcohol need a daddy to kick there arse Maybe you need a daddy to kick your arse for preaching to grown people who can make their own decisions without some holier than thou guy who cant hold his alcohol telling them what they oughta be doin! That statement right there says it all. It's all about showing your man card how much you can drink while you hunt. Im pretty sure it's more about relaxing and having a good time vs. showing your man card. It's threads like these that make me appreciate the group of guys I hunt with. Obviously your camp's a little different.

Nothing worse than someone leaving all their trash. As far as drinking and hunting, just take liquor and you have less to carry out its not like its hard to put 6 or 12 crushed beer cans in a backpack and haul them out.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Styrofoam cup folds up nicely in my back pocket and leaves room in the backpack If I wear cargo pants, I can fit a 6 pack in the pockets for the walk in and when crushed, the cans fit nicely right back in the pockets. No need for a backpack.

I like to enjoy a couple of cold beers while relaxing and watching deer. I dont think i am supporting or convincing people to drink and hunt, just sticking up for guys who wanna have a beer while hunting, and against people like you who think because you dont think something is right then thats the way everyone should be. As far as throwing trash out i NEVER leave trash behind hunting or otherwise.

Some people fail to realize public hunting compared to hunting a lease are quite different. Public land has more people than just deer hunters utilizing the same habitat at the same time. There are many people who want to use the land but won't because of the fear of deer hunters . I am one of them, along with 99% of hunters who hunt the same game as me. There is no way to control the amount of people using the habitat at the same time so it can very easily be overcrowded. Not to mention the unsafe hunters who are in the mix. Put all that together why on earth would anyone support alcohol added to the scenario.
At least with a lease you can get rid of the unsafe and irresponsible. Control what kind of hunters can use the lease , and how many can be on it

It's called ethics
Like I said earlier , take a couple of beers to the public shooting range and see if you get any preaching. When you do tell him your a grown man and don't like being told what to do.
Tell me what happens next

Organize a clean up. As far as drinking while hunting, that is a separate issue from littering.

The thread was about public hunting. Shooting a firearm at a public shooting range isn't any different than at a public WMA as far as safety is involved
Either way you don't like to be told what to do

But you support all the hunters that are drinking while they hunt on public land. Along with lots of other people on this thread. Thats what this is all about along with littering
