Maybe Biden should ban alcohol at deer camp and trash. That's the answer.

Don't guess it ever occurred to the OP that maybe a bunch of hillbillies might use that spot as a party spot. Naw, it's drunken hunters. Pffft

Oh, and 99% of the time my gun sits in the corner of my stand never fired. So how is that foolish?

It's foolish because you can't guarantee that all drinking while you hunt hunters will only drink an amount that will in no way impair their judgement to use a firearm. They don't even have enough sense to carry their trash out with them.

The scary part is that you and many hunters feel that they just absolutely have to drink their beer while hunting. It's that important

I don't feel I have to drink. I just don't agree with people who feel the need to preach about it. It would be different if you hunted on my lease and felt threatned by it. Maybe you should send an e-mail to the people on your lease vs. preaching to THF? There is also a link on-line (don't mess with Texas) to report littering.

The WMAs are public. Everybody is affected

Put it this way, show up at a public shooting range and bring 2 beers with you to your bench. See if anyone preaches to you

I don't agree with drinking while hunting either. Once back at camp knock a few back, that's cool. But don't toss 10 back in the deer stand and think the ranchers prize bull is the next state record. Or fall out of your stand and make me take you to the hospital.

If you read my post you will see I said I drink 1-2 in 4-5 hours. Not 10. I wouldn't agree with 10 either. Big difference

Ok, enough. Did you SEE hunters throw the trash down? Is there a possibility it could have been locals or kids? Dang man, get a grip. Non hunters are all over the Grasslands, trash is everywhere, reckon it was all evil drunken hunters that left it?

Is it possible the ATV riders or 4X4 guys could have done it? How do you know for sure?

I will bet there are plenty who feel they can drink a 6 pack and still handle firearms fine.

Yeah and that would be the difference between responsible vs. out of hand.

If you can't have a couple of beers in the blind and hunt, that's a much bigger indictment on you than it is for those that can and do.

2 beers over a couple of hours has close to zero effect on anyone besides calming the nerves.

Unless you're short. Are you short? I'm guessing you're a short fella.

As per my original post. There is also trash deep in the woods. They were not along any trails . Come on man. A public WMA that gets loaded with deer hunters. And it appears to be the norm to drink while hunting. But it's the local kids wandering around in the middle of the woods dumping beer cans

The deeper in the woods, the better. Harder for the cops to break it up.

You walked 2 miles into the woods to drink beer . Not along any marked trails.
B.S.

I bet it was at nite without a compass too

Like I said if you can guarantee that every hunter out there will limit there intake to 2 beers max in 5 hours time I will shut up

What's a compass? Maybe the cans were placed to find their way back
