What about the Man and his wife that save there whole life to buy 100 or 200 acres and the Rich land owners around them put up high fence on 3 sides of them? I almost hit a big doe this year because she ran back into traffic because she could not jump the high fence. I have nothing against high fence hunters. It is the fence I have a problem with. Fence the 4th side, if you cant beat them join them LOL

Why trash the reputation of your deer by joining the neighbor?

Oh gosh here we go another guy saying he's bear gryls and trekking across the llano estacado every deer season. Come on guys lets be honest 99% of the dudes on here sit in a blind over a feeder. And HF ain't nancy hunting u still gotta put the animal down and yes as an outfitter and guide I've seen plenty of guys botch or miss. Not to mention not have the deer come out over 3 solid days of hunting. When I say HF I don't mean shake the coffee can and say "c'mere lil fella" and bang flop brother. I'm still talking hunting not shooting.
Gasoline poured!!!!

Oh no, no deer over 3 days...that is some tough hunting, lemme tell ya Sounds like too much pressure being put on the animals to make up for a feed bill, mortgage or fence costs

Interesting theory, BUT don't all low fence guys say a HF hunt is like hunting a petting zoo? Remeber hf is easy! So if you actually have to be patient and wait and scout and all the same as low fence didn't u just agree or substantiate my position? Show up pop a top get in a blind and bang flop then spend the rest of the trip doing whatever that's exactly how a proper HF ranch works huh?

I'm not for put & take or outside genetics being introduced inside a fence....just going to throw that out there... I'm doing it to introduce fresh blood into the place, not to necessarily spruce up my genetics. Two bred does is not gonna have that big an impact on a herd of 60 animals for many years

No, you sit in the lodge and shoot deer off the feeders 100yds from he back porch. You go to a HF place and not see deer for 3 days that's the guide's fault.

Wow so now guides just click there snake boots 3 times and poof there is your deer? What happened to hunting the "wild animal". By the way he saw plenty of deer just not the class he wanted. Wah Wah I guess that's why they call it hunting and not shooting

So you mean you pick out a class you want to shoot and know those kind of deer will be there to book hunts well in advance?

And yes, the guide has the ability to go push deer around, ride the fences, drive those deer across stands, run them in circles

Ya I mean i thought it was pretty common for people to scout all year. Take notes, make a journal about what they have, take pics, get some estimates going off those pics, you know all the off season stuff. Or am I just imagining that the postings in the outfitter section and pricing by class on the net is bs????

So 100 gallon aquarium = 1000 ac dense brush ranch. Good thing I quit at cal 2. I doubt my math skills would have carried me pass thermo or Diffy q
