Completely agree...In the past I think there was a big reliability advantage with inertia but if you get a good Browning or Berreta you'll have a very reliable shotgun. To me the major decision should be based on the fit and feel of the gun.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the A5 is also inertia based.

FAKE A5- INTERIA simlar to benelli

Old a5 spring system called long recoil...barrel and action move via recoil

But ya its not gas operated

Well, kinda. The new one is intertia operated, and the old one isn't gas. It's a long recoil action, which works on some similar properties. New one would be a patent infringment on the benelli system if their patent was still valid.

I'm going to assume that he wasnt directly saying that the A5 was gas, he mentioned that he owns both types, never said what models those were.

Man I'd like to get my hands on one of these guns that shoot a thousand rounds without any cleaning.

Factory guns have pretty large tolerances. And each bolt is not made for a specific action so the chance of getting an action on the small side of the tolerances with a bolt on the large side of tolerances is definitely a possability, from any manufactuer.

I've shot inertia and gas. Had good luck with both. Find something that you like, shoot good, and believe in. Done Deal!

Yep, I made 2 errors in my post-I should have mentioned Old A5 versus the newer "fake", and I should have added my Maxus to the discussion...totaly missed typing it. I need to proof read better. Thanks for the correction and not blasting me.
