We got to the Archer Shooting Complex before the crowd hit the check in time. I am setting up, from my vantage point I can see the hunters headed to the complex. One of the first of the hunters checking in with his coyotes. The chow line started to get going as soon as the hunters arrived, Good BBQ, beans and the fixings. Starting to get busy around the food area. The check in area was busy with contestants coming from all parts of Texas. One of the hunters headed back to his truck after weighing his "Big Dog" entry.

One yote showing on the truck. One of the high racks that were at the hunt, no many high racks since this was a daylight only hunt. One ripe pickup load of coyotes. And with full bellies the stories of the hunt started to flow. And we headed home to Abilene........
