AR should be coming back to the shelves, the workforce is back from their Christmas vacation. As far as prices go, some companies and retailers are jacking up their because of need and/or greed; remember their taxes went up so we should expect some mark up.

close but no

"What is a straw purchase?

A straw purchase is an illegal firearm purchase where the actual buyer of the gun, being unable to pass the required federal background check or desiring to not have his or her name associated with the transaction, uses a proxy buyer who can pass the required background check to purchase the firearm for him/her. It is highly illegal and punishable by a $250,000 fine and 10 years in prison."

(a National Shooting Sports website to prevent illegal purchases of firearms)

just because he lists it on gunbroker doesn't meant East wouldn't follow the law and do an FFL transfer

Im not 100%, but I think the issue with buying with the intent to turn around and sell it makes you in the business of selling firearms, which is illegal without an FFL. Not a strawpurchase but still illegal.

Now, how do they show intent to resell? confused2

That would be the issue, not a straw purchase. As far as the intent to resell, that's almost built in if you buy a firearm and then immediately list it for double the money.

I had zero intent on selling guns until my wife saw the receipts!
