This is my third year on my lease in Coke County, and also my last. I've seen more bucks on that place, but not one worth shooting. The other guys out there say they have seen a few nice ones, but they smoke a lot of weed. pm me when you get off..i will take your spot..are you close to Blackwell..bronte..or Robert e lee?

Coke county= large numbers, but not lots of mature bucks. Lots of neighbors seem to shoot whatever in NE corner of the county. Last year opening day I watched / walked 14 deer, but heard 15 shots go off on surrounding properties! This year buck look better on camera, but none are old. We have one that may be a 4.5 YO 10 point, all others are young. I hope the neighbors let them walk like we have and will. Going next weekend, can't wait to make the 715 mile drive!

Thanks Erathkid. This will be 5th trip out of 6 this year. 1 turkey, 1 bow, 2 rifle, 2 work trips. 3 of us traveling together. worth every mile!
