You should be fine shooting them with 22 rat shot. Just make sure you have on face paint and sunglasses, use wooden decoys, take a buddy without a license who wants to watch and learn, and a silver lab to retrieve your birds once shot. But you better make dang sure Will C. doesn't have permission to hunt there. Good Luck!!!!
