I am an avid bow hunter but not with traditional equipment. But I have a brother (THF member cmc) who hunts with a traditional bow and lever guns and likes to give me sh## about my new Mathews bow with expandable broad heads and scent blockers suits. With the freezer full of meat for the season I thought I would step up to the challenge and take out my old recurve out of storage. I used to use this recurve to bow fish with but have not used it in years. So after taking off the reel and mount I got some arrows and started shooting. After a day of practice off to the stand I went. Thanks to my brother and his smack talking and the brotherly competitiveness that we have had growing up I got my first hog with a traditional bow.
