Does anyone currently hunt this lake? Are there any special hunting restrictions for duck hunting, like areas that you can't hunt etc? I only ask because I have never duck hunted before and I have 260 acres leased on the north shore of the Lake. Actually 3/4 of the north shore is my lease, from the swimming area on the west side almost all the way to the bridge on the east side. I use the lease for hunting deer and hogs and thought about picking up duck hunting since I have the land now to do so.

You must launch at the public ramp and hunt west of the overpass. No hunting east of the overpass. Hope this helps and good luck. Also, if you have success do not post it here and name the lake. The Barneys are watching and reading our every word! Feel free to pm me how you did.

Thanks BUHunter for the PM. The Lake Ranger was very helpful. Thanks for that number. Apparently you can only hunt (from a boat on the lake) on the west side of the overpass. I can however hunt on the east side on the lake from my lease as long as I am not in the Lake Mitigation area and I am firmly on my property. Anything that flies over my 260+ acres is fair game. Thanks again for the info.

I just noticed that I got my west and east swapped in my original post. Oh well. That's what happens when you get in a hurry.
