I'm fat. 6' 3" and 220lbs. I can and do carry a surprising array of guns. My basic set up is an old TripleK belt-slide that was bought for a P-85 (remember those). My compact Sig 1911 and Kel-Tec P9 both fit it. Untucked shirt and I am good. The only guns I will carry have to have been 100% reliable. I Love me too much to trust a gun that only "acts up" occasionally.
Live right. Do right. Demand the same in others. Screw off. Lie and cheat. Have no regard for the actions of others.
You tell me which takes, and ultimately makes, a Man.

I'm same height and weight as you and I carry XD subcompact. It kind of heavy and bulky when wearing light clothing. I used to carry mine in my back but since my belly fat is growing bigger I put it on my side front and suprisingly concealed! My wife carry walther PPS and it is a good conceal gun it's so thin I took it one time with me in the summer with just a tshirt and it's invisible, no print, shoot accurate too than my XD.

Thanks everyone. I'm heading up to Bullet Trap in a few. Hope it's not packed.

This, non of my carry guns will have grip safeties. The three people I have heard from who actually had to use their guns whiles conceal carrying all carry glocks now. (Two were long threads on arfcom with pics etc, one was shot in the hand and couldn't activate his grip safety on his 1911. And one is a guy I went to highschool with that had to use his while being robbed and stabbed in Galveston)

Well, I fired 10 guns today. It was kind of hard to focus on all the different attributes during this. I liked the PM9, and shot well with it. The trigger pull is way longer than I like. Is there a way to shorten that? Same with a Walther P99c. It felt great, but has a long and strange trigger. I shot really well with it though. I really liked the Glock 26. It felt good, and was simple. I shot fair with it. I liked the XD9 sub too. I shot fair with it, and it was real steady in my hand. Same with the Beretta PX4 Storm sub, but I don't want that safety. I'm gonna go and handle them again, and hopefully make a decision soon. I'm making this a pain, but I should learn as much as I can. I wish I had more time with each before I buy one. I guess I can have more than one.

I'm down to the Glock 26 or the Kahr CM9.
