My experience with SWFA was excellent. I went to their store in redoak and spent an hour being indecisive. They were very patient with me and I walked out with a very nice piece of glass.

Had a lot of good luck with Optics Planet, but I'm going to have to check out SWFA.

The Optics Zone is a great place. I have bought from them recently. Excellent customer service.

I have also heard good things about Camera Land.

I have probably spent close to 6 or 8 thousand dollars with Doug at Cameraland over the years and have had several buddies spend the same or more. EVERY single transaction was better than is to be expected. Even when I didnt like what I got ,no questions asked he exchanged it or refunded my money. No tax, best prices anywhere, no shipping and he always throws in goodies, not to mention getting gifts from him at the holidays. I have looked at SWFA a few times and their prices were never as good as Cameralands but it is interesting what you guys are saying regarding them price matching and making the extra tax cost a non issue.

Cameraland

Only problem is Dougs business is in New York and as I have said for years if your a gun owner you should boycott buying anything in that state. Especially with the new laws enacted up there this week. Doug's income taxes is helping fund that Anti-Gun state.

I have never had a problem reaching him, just call the main number and ask for him. I think he most likely knows your calling and is just avoiding you.

Have heard great things about SWFA, but just had a great experience with Camera Land, because they had some SHOT show demos at prices no one else can touch.

SWFA and Sklyar is dang good! Talked to him today, they're swamped but still take care of customers as fast and best they can.

I am about to have to send back some tally qd rings to swfa. They sent me the wrong rings the first time. Sent those back. They sent me the wrong rings the second about to send those back. Hope the third time is the charm.

I ordered the first time from skyler. Had to talk to some lady who did returns when they sent me the wrong wrings the first time. I sent those rings back, and they sent me the wrong rings again. Took several weeks for them to send me the wrong rings the second time. Just ended up ordering qd rings from a different company this time around. Either way I wouldnt have any problems buying from them again, as long as their price was the lowest.
