It was pretty slow the last few days in Tom Green county as well...only saw 3-5 doe and the largest buck was a young 5 point.

Ended up with just one old 9pt this year. Hearing others talk about their year I quess that this was the norm. Now its time to let these pigs know that all that corn wasn't free.

I came home Saturday....didn't see anything all year that I wanted to shoot. Could have shot my 2 doe if I wanted. But I decided with the huge drop off in deer sightings this year, to let them all walk. So my whitetail season is over. Headed down to Rocksprings tomorrow to hopefully shoot a couple Axis doe for the freezer.
