Hmm...got a PWS Mk116 300 Blackout with STR stock, VTACs sling, several PMAGs, and a nice 1-4 scope on it. Wonder if $3500 would fetch a buyer.

The worst part about all this is the prices are being driven by people who are panicing instead of thinking. It's not the government, the manufacturer, or the seller, it's all the buyers jumping up and acting like idiots that is driving the price spike. I don't own an ar nor care so I am just sitting here shaking my head wondering "what are these idiots thinking?"

Just saw a stock DPMS go for $1250 on this forum, crazy. Been considering trying to trade my YHM 6.8 for a fancy rifle for a while now, might be the right timing.

I think price gouging on the forum is bad business. You don't crap where you eat.
Gunbroker and TGT it's ok! On here there is a lot of hunters helping fellow hunters through hard times. This is not a time to screw your fellow hunters. Im going to write down all the gougers in the Trading Post, so I can avoid doing business with them in the future.

I am going to take a put together AR to the gun shop after the New Year and check trade value. The prices I see make it hard for me not too... So yes it is time to cash in.

I dont see a problem with it, to each their own. Who should be blamed, the person selling or the person buying?
BTW, im not buying in this market unless I can get it for about retail.

I have a JP Enterprises JP-15/VTAC Kyle Lambert Signature model that retailed at $2,000.00 last year. I wonder what I could get for it now?

My issue is that I actually NEED the parts people are gouging each other on. I just built an AR and have 1 Bushmaster steel mag that wont feed right. I cant even afford another magazine to verify that the one I have is bad or to have as a backup. I have a short barreled upper that I NEED a stripped poly lower for. So all these speculators looking for "preban" parts for their future price gouging are keeping regular guys like me from completing builds that have been going on for weeks.

Put one of my stripped PSA lowers on gunbroker just to see what it would fetch. Sold for $380.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I was at the Houston gun show last weekend, there were stripped CavArms lowers selling for $149+ tax. Everything else was too expensive for me to even consider.

There was a guy on here selling new frontier stripped lowers for $250. I got mine for 80. He probably sold em though. People paying these prices are jack a$$es and deserve to be ripped off

I have no problem with capatalism, I've made some good money at it selling beef, but the feeling of taking advantage of a tragedy just doesn't sit right. Regardless of politics, that's what some people are doing. Ask yourself, "If those children and teachers hadn't died, would this AR be worth $3,000.00?" Probably not
I'm as pro-gun as they get, but this is insanity defined. We do the same thing as before looking for a different result.
