I was looking for a cull buck when I hunted with John yesterday, but I couldn't resist when I saw this small Axis buck. They do not want Axis on the place, and I know they're very tasty so I took him. He had a live weight of 130 pounds and dressed weight of 92 pounds. That about matches the *largest* white tail buck I've ever taken.

Don't know about next year, but this property is MLD 3, so his season runs on for quite a bit longer.

John and Cody, we had an awesome hunt with y'all this weekend and what a hunt it was. We were greatful to have had the opportunity to meet and hunt with both of you. First class all the way. Aaron was so proud of his buck, and rightfully so! We look forward to our next hunt this fall!!

jsraider99 we also had a great time, I let Cody stay home from school today he said he was tired. I think maybe he had some homework he didnt finish. I enjoyed your guys company as did Cody and I really enjoyed watching Aarons face light up when we had 5 bucks walk right by the blind.

John and Cody, thank you for making our hunt one of the most memorable hunt I have ever had mainly because of the way both of you treated us. I agree with Jack, First class all the way. I do admire you for bringing up a very good and responsible son in Cody.
My buck was a lot better than the one I had in Junction last year.
I am looking forward to the next hunt with you and Cody, God willing. See you soon!!!
