Congrats kid. Keep hunting,You should be applauded that youre in the outdoors and not playing video games. I think the issue is that place is way to small for those animals, and they are just being put in there to be shot within days..

Honestly more or less, I'd love to go on a hunt that I could actually remember.:( (There's been a few, notably at Hidden Valley Whitetails and on the other place in Southern Ohio for 5 days)

Honestly if it was up to me I would prefer to go hunting at places which actually had my hunt last longer the 2 hours.

so go hunt someone else then. no one is twisting your arm making you shoot something.

for what you are paying to hunt in that put and take place there are hundreds of ranches that will give you a quality hunt that you will make memories on.

I don't know what the deal is with some of the guys on this thread. All I hear is pure jealousy. This is a 16 year old kid who likes to go hunting with his father. I am sure most of you take, or at least would like to take your kids to the deer lease..should they have to pay for their own corn, or their portion of the lease fees? What if you have a family ranch that your 16 year old kid hunts at, do you make him pay to hunt there? What is the difference with this guys father taking him to a high fenced ranch so that they can enjoy that experience together? Most of you spend $1000's every year at the lease hoping to shoot a monster, but when Axis goes on a $3000 hunt he is suddenly spoiled? The kid makes good grades and his parents reward him for it, while making memories at the same time. This method is obviously working for them and I'm sure they expect that if he keeps the grades up he will be paying for his own hunts someday.

The kid won't let it die, he feels the need to brag and show off to someone. Unfortunately, not many of us here seem to care about his daddy being rich and taking his son on canned hunts. Kid, if you want a "real" hunt have your dad mail me a check for $315k and I'll sell you a piece of land in west Texas that will challenge your hunting skills and you will actually appreciate the animal you kill.

SCI is for rich folks who can afford $10,000 canned hunts and safaris. I'm betting no regular Joe making $50-75k per year is a member.

Face it, you'll get no pat on the back from the majority of the hunting population...which are made up of mostly those "regular Joe" folks.

Personally, I would go on a "canned hunt" if afforded the opportunity. But...
I would have a hard time bragging about it. I'd more proud of the 120" 8pt hangin on my wall that was a bow kill off a 90 acre LF place in heavily pressured NE Texas.
