I am truly blessed.... Just pull the jeep with a 150 gallon tub under the auger and head out to the feeders.

cruzins8, $ 11.99 for 10 bags should have been $ 119.90 period. Looks like they made some extra money off of you somehow.

It didn't add up to be enough for them to have charged you tax so I thought you might have bought soomething else. But people charging tax on feed is a pet peeve of mine and so is giving people the wrong changeor over charging. So I wasn't being nosey just trying to help.

My nephew called the grocery store in Coleman last week. Corn was $10.99 a bag. They used to be competitive, but not anymore. We bought some at Academy for $6.69, I think.

No, no, no. No state sales tax on livestock/wildlife feed. Feeders and blinds, motors, solar panels yes, but feed does not have a tax on it.

Stores that charge tax are either uneducated or are ripping you off.

5.05 for 50# from leupolds mill in Nada. This was late seaon last year, and bagged. It is cheaper if you buy bulk unbagged.

I might be gettin a 2000 lb. bag from work sometime next week. If someone wants to make me an offer. I'll let you know if I get it. I'm probably going to make 50lb. bag out of it too.

Luckily and unluckily for us we hunt on ag land used for sweet feed. Have close to 50+ acres planted in corn most years. The rest of the land is heavy heavy oaks, so between the corn and the acorns you can't draw deer in. You gotta hunt the major travel areas.
