I love all types of hunting, but havent been able to do enough of what I plan to someday to tell at this point. I would love to hunt mule deer and elk and antelope and plan on it. I would also like to go after carabo and moose some day.
I really do love duck hunting, but dont know enough about the different kind of ducks to do it... legally so after three years of duck hunting I cut my losses and gave it up before I got a ticket.
I would have to say of what I have done so far it would be a draw between white tail and ducks, but white tail will win out because I can do it legally and the meat yeild is much better in quality and quantity to me.

T85, you need to do an Escalante sheep hunt. Buddies call it the 21 mile death march.

Desert sheep in the escalate desert...you have to tote in everything and pray the potholes aren't dried up along the drainages. Mountain hunting isn't bad in the 7-10k range... get up past that and you got no oxygen to go to you muscles.

I was told that this is considered fairly high and the altitude would affect my breathing. fortunately that didnt happen. is the escalante in mexico?

that would be a OIL tag. My buddy drew it last year to finish out his slam. Walked 21 miles in, figured out they didn't have any water, walked 21 miles out to get a guide to go back in with him. Shot a ram at 400yds and it took them until the next evening to get to the thing.

Doves Opening weekend has been a father son event since I was in my teens. While other animals are far more interesting and challenging, nothing compares to the time I get to spend with my father.

I got a duck hunting addiction.... hard to pass up a good duck hunt over anything else...
Bow hunting for deer is close behind but dont have to hunt to enjoy them, watching them grow, feeding them, keeping up with records over the years... more of a long term thing.
Ha i say all this but i deffinintly hog hunt twice as much as both above combined

Whitetail deer. Big, mature, cagey ones.
I'd really like to try for Trans-Pecos MD. Next year I'm gonna try to get drawn for NM archery Elk.
Back in the day, though, I relentlessly pursued the two-legged whitetail. Even caught a couple.

Coyotes...daylight hunting.....it requires camouflage,no scent and decent hunting skills....there is nothing more fun than to see the expression on a coyote's face when he realizes that dying cottontail he thought he was gonna eat is actually 240lbs and has an AR...

Whitetail for one reason: Accessibility
I can hunt them all over the country and in my own backyard.

Elk at about 11,000 ft. No feeders or fences involved in this kind of hunting.
