Used a doe decoy to get this guy in close for her, but she still took him at 200 yards with her new .270. Just got her into hunting last year when she took a doe. This year she had two requests, her own rifle, and to shoot a buck. Set up the decoy at 4pm, and at 5pm we had two 1.5 bucks slobering all over it when this guy came out, bristled up and headed our way. It stopped at around 200 yards and stood broadside, and even though i was telling her to hold off, that he would get closer, she said she had the shot so i let her take it.
