Just get some of the cheap $15 ones like dairy farmers wear and trade them out each year.

I had some rubber knee boot given to me, I know why they were given to me. Threw them in the trash and went with a cheap pair of sneakers for years and lived with wet feet. Spent the money for some Mucks and will wear cheap sneakers again if I can't afford the Mucks. I like them well.
I crow louder, when I'm far from the nest!

I wear waders when I duck hunt, leather top duck boots when I'm not wading, and I don't want to ever be mistaken for a dairy farmer.

i have been super pleased with these: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Footwear/...%3Bcat104806080 Going on their 3rd season and still holding strong. Ive been rough on them in brushy/thorny terrain. I do prob 90% of my duck hunting in them and have been using them for other hunting in wet areas as well. Super warm.. I would buy another pair..On sale for 89 right now.
