We've covered the investment angle, herd management, over population, genetic management. What else??? Oh wait duh illegal traffic and I'm from so tex how did ii miss that lol. HF keepin illegals out 100% of 10% of the time.

I am off for a bit, but I can't wait for the wise fella to tell us the history and reason for the HF and what it is all about In ETX is was used to keep hogs, ppl & their deer running dogs off a place.

I am off for a bit, but I can't wait for the wise fella to tell us the history and reason for the HF and what it is all about In ETX is was used to keep hogs, ppl & their deer running dogs off a place. So it was due to hog doggers?

Question. How much a foot does the typical HF run? Total cost to include labor? I forget what our was but i think it was $7 or so a foot.

Oh and how high is a fence to be to be called a HF ???????????? BTW I love my HF place and wouldnt trade it for a LF place for anything cause its ours, we either ran all native WT off or shot them lol, yeah there were 4 does that wouldnt leave so they got ate. Plus I can feed most of our animals out of my hard or get them really close with a little rattle of a feed sack.
