This is pretty fun actually. I like deer I like deer hunting I don't care about the fence as long as they 'live' there long enough to be wild, or learn how to fake it really well If an old buck is wary and I can get on him with a fear he may spook...I'm pretty good with it. What if you are on a LF place that has deer that are tamer and don't have the same amount of fear as places that have more presuure? then you would be at the places I hog hunt, practically hand feed them

I don't like having to carry wire cutters with me to retrieve deer.

Just like the bunny it keeps going & going & going! I hunt low. Won't hunt high unless someone pays my way - I'm cheap - but I have left a tip at the Sonic!

I have hunted HF once for exotics......also killed several great bucks on LF hunts not over feeders etc...IMO there is more satisfaction in the LF hunts. HF are not common in our state and frowned upon by most locals.

My opinion is that high fences do little to curtail the movement of native animals who desire to cross them. I have friends with small acreage that got very upset when large landowners that bordered them put up high fences. Now after a few years of experience, they could care less. The deer still move across them when they want to. As far as tame animals, they can be found anywhere there are people around to tame them, with or without the help of fences. The good thing is, we still live in a country where there is enough freedom left to fence your property any way you can afford, and hunt anywhere you can afford. If you think you are better than someone else because you hunt this way or that, you have missed out on enjoying hunting simply for the hunt, and have turned it into some type of competitive event. At least that's my opinion, and you're entitled to yours...

You telling me that buck did not desire to get over there?

On point hermano!
HF isn't a 100% last year I saw a big 12 clear a 10ft fence not cleanly to get on a doe

If HF's don't curtail the movement of the animals, what is the point and why would someone pay so much money for these pen deer and put a short 10' fence around them if they could just jump right out?
