Hunting is the same out of a blind low fence or high fence BUT chance of the buck you want definitely high fence.

You said time and effort....if that is what your question is the "yes".

Feed, plant, water, provide cover....all the same. Boils down to how many and what deer receive it, since I did not build the HF I am not in the equasion (SP) up

Time and effort or management. They are not the same HF and LF.

Have I??? I thought I was staying on one side of the fence during this argument scratch

You might have to remind me on page 5 which side I was arguing for though...

Getting the deer to the feeder and keeping him on your property can be though. Easier to find him on 1k acres than it is on unlimited property.

This is pretty fun actually.

I like deer
I like deer hunting
I don't care about the fence as long as they 'live' there long enough to be wild, or learn how to fake it really well smile

If an old buck is wary and I can get on him with a fear he may spook...I'm pretty good with it.

Actually, he would be in favor of the LF hunter. Let the neighbor do all the work and let everyone else benefit from the fruits of his labor.

This is my life....I OWN LF land, I put out 150# of protein a week Feb-Oct and nearly the same in corn....my place is small and I never have kiled a deer there...they roam, I accept that..but I will not kill a young deer there, period, when and old boy screws up he;ll be mine, until then I feed the crap out of them, enjoy the awesome game cam pictures and feel good knowing I do my part to help them be healty.

The reward will be great when you finally get a good old buck up

Yep, I hear you. I feed 1600 lbs of corn a month on 700 acres LF year round. I've worked my butt off on this place for years and have passed every deer I've seen except for a couple of cull bucks. I have both good and bad neighbors, but I'm optimistic & looks like things are getting better. There's been some good deer taken there but my time hasn't come yet on this place, but it will. My way of thinking is, if you get ticked off & start shooting everything you see then you are that bad neighbor.

I would like to have fencing done that is about 1/4" in height below what is considered HF/ That way I could claim fair chase.

What if you are on a LF place that has deer that are tamer and don't have the same amount of fear as places that have more presuure?
