The contest will be on January 25 , 26 , 27 2013 in Archer City Texas .
Agenda - Sign up on Friday the 25th at the Archer City Shooting Sports Complex between 6pm and 8pm . Rules will be read after all entrys have been entered .
Hunt starts at daylight Saturday morning of the 25th and will end at checkin time of 3pm Sunday the 27th .
If you do not turn your card in by 3 pm . you will be disqualified .
This is a daylight only hunt . You must quit hunting Saturday night when you cannot see without the aid of a light .
This is a Coyote only hunt . This hunt has a 12 Coyote limit .
In case of a tie when you tag your last Coyote you must record the time you tagged it and whoever killed their last coyote 1st will be declared the winner .
All winners will be given a polygraph .
This hunt will payout 100% and will pay 3 places .
Entry fee for the hunt is 200$ per team .
This is a 2-man hunt . You may hunt with just 1 person but no more than 2 per team .
Team members must stay together during calling .
You May not shoot out of a moving vehicle .
You may not shoot from a public road .
You may not add weight to any animal .
No pooling of animals .
All animals must be called in .
ATVs are allowed .

My Boy Dawson .We were supposed to only Kill Dogs but Ol Marvin give him the Green light thinking he would miss . He killed the two and was fixing to bust another when Marvin Hollared Calf rope .

I want to hunt with u Clay. what part of TX dig u get that truck load of pelts.

Right North of archer City . we killed 4 more yotes and 2 more cats but didnt have room in the truck . whats amazing is we got almost all of that on 3000 acres ..1 pasture . we killed a triple and a double on the 1st 2 calls .
Man I tell you what though the last couple of years have been some some tough ol night hunting .
Hopefully this year will be better . Im hearing that people are seeing lots of Dogs this year .

Well boys our 13th annual hunt is rapidly approaching so I thought I might go over a few things .
This hunt is open to any state or anyone . You must have permission to hunt on the land you are calling on unless you are hunting on public land .
You can hunt with Decoy dogs . You can also take a camera guy with you as long as hes not calling or shooting .
This is a 12 Coyote limt hunt . When you kill your 12th Coyote and 12th Coyote only you must go tag your last Coyote and record on your card what time you killed it . What I mean by tag is go out lay your hand on it . If he doesnt bite you then I know hes dead . LOL This is the tie breaker for the 12 . If we dont have a limit tie breaker will be heavy dog .
We will be giving 2 rifles away donated MOSSY OAK REALTY and REATA Tank truck Services . FOXPRO has donated a Hellfire caller and 5 DILLON calls . ALLPREDATORCALLS.COM has donated 2 Wicked Lights , Ghillie suit , 2 Johnny Stewart calls , and a 150$ gift certificate . Custom calls donated by T.J. There will be a brisket dinner at the weigh in provided by Texas Best Beef .
This is a 2 day Daylight only hunt and pays 1000$ dollars to the biggest Coyote .
There will also be a writer there writing an article on this hunt as well as several people filming . Local papers and even one of the local tv stations are coming out .
Last year nobody shot their limit as 10 dogs won the hunt . Last year Texas was well represented in this hunt as we had most every corner covered . Paris , Muleshoe , Ozona , Waco , Pecos , Abiline and Childress to name a few .
The best of the best in Texas will be there . We went to trying to count the teams that have won championships in the past but we finally quit counting .
Maybe the ol PETA masters will show up wich would be awesome because everyone knows that there is no such thing as bad publicity . LOL This is on private property so it would be my privledge to escort them out .

looking good so far . Picked up 8 more today . Had 50 last year and I think we should get that pretty easy . I think im standing at like 25 mailins with a bunch to come tommorrow . The MLK deal messed some guys up .

No hunting off of deads or baits . If you can get him to come to a call from a dead then that will be allowed but no sitting around dead pits waiting and blowing a call . THIS IS A CALLING CONTEST .

The Ship report . Well from just what I heard it seems that 10 Coyotes is leading the pack . There were 2 teams with ten and 2 with 9 . Like I said this is just what Ive heard from the teams ive spoke with . Me and ol Mitch finished with 5 but after the Heck we had to start off I was pretty happy to have that . We got to the Archer Shooting Complex before the crowd hit the check in time.
