If he's still alive------WHY?????
It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I enjoy watching bucks like these "posturing". Great photos & sequence. These are some of your "smaller" dominant bucks. I'd like to see more of those bruisers posturin'.

Just curious, I know there's tons of variables involved, but is there a general range that you can get away with the sound of the shutter?

Just curious, I know there's tons of variables involved, but is there a general range that you can get away with the sound of the shutter? Lot of variables. Sitting in a blind with all the windows shut they can be very close, 20 yds or less and not hear it. Wind plays into it also from masking sounds to my scent. My best pics are from around 60 yds so I usually don't have to worry about sound but my scent or movements with just one window open.

Him walking into the feeder looked like a gunslinger walking into a saloon, just waiting for somebody to throw down.
