Very nice blind makes me want to re-think using that OSB.. I can get it for $13 a panel here.. just need drip edges and lots of caulk but it sure does look nice!

for longevity, would it be worth wrapping it in Tyvek during construction?

Very nice! You did a great job sir. You cannot beat a blind built by yourself to your specs & color matched to your hunting area. A buddy of mine in Louisiana took pics of the natural landscape around his stand & had fabric made with the exact colors/pattern which he wrapped his blind with! I'll see if I can get pics! He wanted to do some laminate instead of fabric but the cost was obviously too much! Your blind blends in very nicely! I'll have to go pick up some of those camo panels soon myself! Great job!

Put a few cups with vinegar in stand. If it still smells, replace vinegar. Old painters trick to kill the new paint smell. It works.

If I remember correctly he has the (2) 36" x 11.5" on the front and a 24" x 11.5" on the side. That is atleast what i see fromt he picture angles

so why did you go with OSB?

You don't always see something or get a shot. That's why they call it hunting, not killing.

Always got one naysayer. Can he build the same with top of the line Deerview windows? Carpeted shooting decks, gym style floor covering, overhead storage. Bet NOT! I built it myself to my specs and that makes it worth the $750.00. Besides, it's my money. I'll spend it as I want on what I want. IF your guy can build the same blind for $350.00 bucks then I will take 2 of them, no wait make that 3. Give them for Xmas presents to the other 3 guys on my lease. Send me his phone #. Anyways, here it is set up ready to hunt.

Agree 100%, you did it YOURSELF there is just something about taking some game from the blind you built! The new generation is a 'do it for me' lazy one in my opinion. Sweet blind I want to build me another one now!
