A few years ago at the lake my BIL threw some old copper tubing in the fire. If your BIL has any more copper that needs burning, please tell him I would be happy to take it off his hands and, uh, burn it for him.

here is a tip .......serious burns need to go right into ice water .....so the beer drinkin duz have an added advantage .... you dunk the burned area till it goes numb .... then take it out ,,,,, and keep doing so everytime it warms up and begins hurt ...... repeat for several hours .... this type of immediate burn therapy greatly reduces the effect of the burn .....it confuses the nervous system and it keeps blistering to a minimum.... and i am not joking

I was a rowdy one when I was younger and did some crazy stuff. Like keeping the first time hunters up all night partying to see how serious they were about hunting. Putting shotgun shells on fence post and popping them with a 22.( doesn't really do much). Throwing fireworks in the fire was always fun. (don't do it with artillary shells). Watching beer cans melt was a good wind down. Good thing is I was with people who were the same as me. Now that we're older we still enjoy our drink but after scarface got his scars (artillary shell) I guess we all calmed down a bit. My rule is respect others in camp and I won't run you off. It helps I built the fire ring away from the bunk house. If you're here to hunt, awesome. If you're here to party thats good too. Just remember don't party too much that you miss the hunt. If you get drunk you don't go to the stand. I don't need anyone falling out on the ground. One day we'll be all grown up we just don't all be there at the same time.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

We drink in stands and at camp, but we keep it civil. We have 2 non drinkers a father and his 12 yr old son. Same group for 5 years now and not one problem because of drinking. I did have to let one member go last year but it wasnt drinking related.

Since I'm usually too drunk to start a campfire, I'm safe.

booner......You drink while your hunting? Are you serious? At our lease, the foreman will not let anyone in the field if he thinks they have alcohol in them. Guess its different stokes for different folks, but i think that is highly irresponsible. Also, kinda dangerous

No we dont get drunk and hunt but having a few beers in the blind is ok. We are all life long country boys and we are very responsible when it comes to hunting. I could drink a case of Bud Lite and still be more responsible than some of the newbies and city slickers I have seen.

So we are not worried about any one going in the field when they are drinking , it is already off limits. It is full of oats, wheat and pretty flowers though.
