Super cool pic on the bales, in all my hunts I have only seen one in the hill country and he was at about 40 yards and very bright red. Cool creatures for sure.

We have a family of Red foxes that live in the woods next to my house (right on Cedar Creek Lake - East side). See them quite a bit. Never seen one while hunting, only grays. These next to the house I am not going to shoot, I like seeing them. I guess they have killed my rabbits that I used to see all the time but oh well.

I've never seen a red. There are a few greys left around here but it is pretty rare to see them. We had a family living in one of our old barns here a few years back. Every one of them got hit by a car in the same spot. I guess they were going into town and digging in trash and getting chickens.

They are all over east Lubbock. I used to see them and grays when I worked the night shift.

Hey KG68..do those red foxes tear up that net wrap on those hay bales? We have an awful time with coyotes tearing up bales looking for mice or rats

I saw a beautiful pair of Red Fox breeding on a lease I had in Mason county. I presume after they got through, there may have been more of them in a short time.

On the 250 some odd acres we have in Kendall county we have killed 2 grey fox. Haven't been able to get a shot off on the 3 we have that live on the creek. Here a pic of the latest little booger and my bro with the luckiest shot of his life.

Never noticed any damage from the fox but they leave us a lot of presents on the bales. grin

Kg great pics! I grew up in zephyr and hunted all over from zephyr to the Colorado river in goldthwaite. My friend I hunt and fish with now thinks I'm crazy saying reds are all over that area but we used to see them all the time.
