I've had my Nova for over 10 years and have yet to clean it. It goes BOOM every time I pull the trigger, and I use it about 30 hunts per year. When it was new, it jammed a couple times, but other than that, it has served me well. I'm not too hard on it, though. I keep it in the case till I get to the blind and wipe off the water drops, but that's it. I'm sure I would break it down if I dropped it in the marsh or mud, but I have yet to even clean the packing grease. No doubt they are a beast...but use it and then use a well oiled browning bps and you will switched in heart beat... Nova is stiff and heavy!!!! But it is dependable, if you have 20" biceps
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, b/c they know not victory nor defeat"- #26 TR

Will definitely look at the bps as I am in the market for another pump shotgun.
