J's in San Angelo is good but my problem with them is i you get an animal processed there but take the cape somewhere else to get mounted the owner has a big problem with it instead of giving the buisness to his brother and laws taxidermist.

Me, myself, and I! I have done my own deer and hogs since 2002...that being said, my buddy takes his to Kuby's, and they turn out some pretty damn good sausage!

Rust Deer Plant

Eastland, TX

They have done a lot of deer for me over the years, good cuts, minimal waste, and they make excellent sausage and jerky!

I have to admit, I tried some brautwaurst from Kuby's this week off a friend's doe from last season and it absolutely "sucked". It was rubbery without taste. For all the bragging about Kuby's based on that, I won't go near the place. For my money, locally it's Syracuse only and near my hunting place, Clear Fork in Graham, TX. Everything I've had from either has been top notch.

Mack Childs Canton/Lindale makes amazing sausage and does it one deer at a time. What you bring is what you get
