I am a smaller pellet fan as well. I am sure you have seen my soap box posts before. I was curious how far the geese were when you popped them with 7s. Just to add to my research arsenal.

Sick day from work to hunt is a bit unethical.

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

Boss told me I have to burn up some sick time before it expires in October, so I'm taking half days tommorow and Friday. I don't have to be at work until 5pm for those two days.

Think I'll start where I had good luck last year durning big duck season. It's pretty shallow for a good distance out. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

First two were green. Just got a blue that snuck in with a coot and played hide and sneak in the dekes. Had to stand upland yell to get him to fly.

Three down.

A lot of places now have Paid Time Off (PTO) and some floating holidays. No more sick or personal days.

"Just got a blue that snuck in with a coot". You gotta watch those rascally coots. grin

Never got number 4. No more birds flying, so I called it at 10. Only saw 4 teal. Got two out of the first group of 3, then the single blue. Every duck I saw cane into the dekes. I'm happy with 3. I was in a good spot, just not very many birds. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Sounds like a typical teal hunt. Nice, you got some green....
